    A common question that is asked from patients is if everyone is adjusted the same way and the short answer is no! Each patient’s spine and care plan is unique. Each individual patient is analyzed and examined for his or her age, condition and health goals. There are a wide variety of spinal patterns.  There are several different chiropractic techniques and philosophies to choose from which will accommodate different types of people. In general, most patients get chiropractic care depending on their needs.  Proper tests and exams followed by a series of x-rays on the initial consultation help guide the chiropractor to the sources of the spinal problem.  Some adjusting methods can produce a “popping” sound when the gas and fluids in the joint shift. The sound is interesting, but it is not a guide to the quality or value of the chiropractic treatment.
